Vinyasa Flow with Tess

ABOUT THE CLASS

Vinyasa Flow combines fluid movement and breath to create an energising sequence of creative sun salutations, standing, balancing and seated postures. It offers a space where people can come to practice yoga with their own individuality and desires, but also with the sense of interconnection between everyone in the room, finding the joy in moving together.

The class encourages the possibility of travelling through class with an intention, and a focus on embodying movement within a flowing Vinyasa framework. Expect lots of breathing and playfulness, to empower and nurture, set within a relaxed and supportive environment. 

This class welcomes beginners and experienced practitioners alike. Wear comfortable clothing you can manoeuvre in easily. Please inform the teacher of any injuries or concerns.

ABOUT TESS

Tess first met with yoga during her contemporary dance training in 2006, where it became a vital tool in helping her to support her body and mind. In 2017, she completed her 200hr yoga teacher training in her hometown of Edinburgh, led by the two inspirational teachers of MUDRA Yoga. She has since been teaching in a wide variety of settings, alongside her work as an independent dance artist. 

She offers a space where people can come to practice yoga with their own individuality and desires, but also with the sense of interconnection between everyone in the room, finding the joy in moving together. She encourages the possibility of travelling through class with an intention, and a focus on embodying movement within a flowing Vinyasa framework. Her classes are full of breath and playfulness, to empower and nurture, set within a relaxed and supportive environment. 

Tess teaches Morning Vinyasa Yoga on Wednesdays from 10:00 - 11:00 with Beetroot Sauvage Wellness Centre.
