Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy with ANNA
Biodynamic craniosacral therapy is a gentle but profound form of hands on bodywork that uses light touch to listen deeply to the various expressions of aliveness in the body. The body is a biodynamic whole and is constantly renewing and changing but sometimes – through injury, a traumatic event or general stress – restrictions build up and are held in the body. Through light, listening touch Biodynamic craniosacral therapy focuses on giving the body time and space to find it’s own way to release any restrictions in a gentle way that simultaneously releases more potency/life force and can lead to better health and a more connected sense of self.
Common experiences of craniosacral treatments are feelings of deep relaxation and wholeness.
Biodynamic craniosacral therapy is gentle enough for all including babies and can help integrate difficult birth experiences for both mum and baby. It can be helpful for a wide range of conditions such as migraine, anxiety, back and joint pain and is also helpful as a support for people with busy lives and anyone developing any mindful movement practices such as yoga.
I first experienced Biodynamic craniosacral therapy 20 years ago and continue to find that receiving sessions helps bring balance and ease to my life. Having recently trained in BCST I find that my respect for the self-healing potential in each of us just keeps growing.
I have previously trained in Holistic massage and massage for pregnancy.
